'What to take to uni' is a common question which not many people know the answer to. The team at readyforuni.com have come to the rescue and have worked on a check list which you will need to take list includes tin foods as well as fresh food basics to get you started. Baking trays (more than 1) 1 big pan 1 casserole dish 1 measuring jug 2 smaller pans (for when friends come around) 1 large frying pan (the small ones are rubbish) Plates (around 4)

2 cups (incase you brake 1)
1 set of drinking glasses (or pint glasses)
1 wooden spoon
1 can opener
1 bottle opener
a Knife set
1 set of knifes and forks
a potatoes peeler
empty jars (to put sugar / coffee in)
A double duvet
bed sheets (plus spares)
Towels
Hand towels
tee towels (kitchen towels)
1 bag (for carrying books around)
1 iron
1 small ironing board
1 clothes bin (dirty clothes)
pens and pencils
sticky notes (lots)
1 ring binder
1 note pad
1 ethernet cable (most uni's don't supply them)
clothes (if you dint know that you needed them)
bathroom stuff (shampoo, loo roll etc)
a TV (you will need to get a license for this and in some uni a external aerial)
DVD's, music ,videos (may come in handy)
